Ranch Riding Clinic with Julia Keil-Quibell

Julia Keil-Quibell was born and raised in Germany where her riding career began in the English disciplines before transitioning too Western. She has been in Canada for over 15 years and has worked intensively with mentors along the way. Over the course of her career, she has garnered extensive show experience in both reining and general performance, including numerous wins at NRHA reining events and AQHA shows not only across Western Canada, but in the US.  In 2025 she and her mount placed 3rd at the Arizona Sun Circuit in the 4-year-old Open Ranch Riding Derby. 

She holds a BSC in Equine Science & Management for the U. of Vienna, Austria. Julia is also an Equine Canada registered Western Competition Coach and a SHF certified General Performance Judge.

Julia and her husband operate Horsolutions at Creekside Equine in Melfort, Saskatchewan where they specialize in training Reining and Western Performance horses including ranch events. Julia also provides lessons and coaches a number of non-pro and youth riders in multi-disciplines.
